Study on the transformation of dosing equipment in old sewage treatment plants

 

At present, many old sewage plants are faced with equipment damage and substandard pollutant treatment. Through research, it is found that the dosing equipment of some old sewage treatment plants has been seriously damaged, which is the main reason for the substandard sewage treatment effect. In view of this situation, we have carried out transformation research on the dosing equipment in some old sewage treatment plants, improved the performance of the dosing equipment through transformation, and optimized the sewage treatment effect.

Dosing equipment in sewage treatment plant

Flocculant dosing equipment is a common dosing equipment in sewage treatment plants. Flocculant dosing equipment produced by Hechuang Environmental Protection mainly consists of dosing tank (with agitator), metering pump, level gauge, electric control cabinet, pipeline, valve, safety valve, check valve, pressure gauge and other components. For the drug dissolution system, we have designed a vacuum suction machine and a three chamber drug dissolution box. In the automatic dosing system of the dosing equipment, we have designed three dosing pumps for dual use and one standby.

Study on the transformation of dosing equipment in old sewage treatment plants

During the actual use, the flocculant dosing equipment will add and stir in the dosing tank according to the required concentration of the agent. After being stirred evenly by the agitator, the flocculant will be added to the solution tank of the dosing tank, and the metering pump will be used to add to the dosing point or deliver the configured solution to the designated system. The flocculant dosing equipment designed by Hechuang Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. is compact in structure, convenient in operation, economical and applicable.

In addition to upgrading the hardware of the dosing equipment in the old sewage treatment plant, the software of the equipment has also been upgraded. An electric control system has been added to the newly modified system. The whole system is designed with full automatic control and PLC programming. The overall equipment is designed with a live control box, which is made of stainless steel. The electric control box controls all the power of the dosing equipment of this group, can adjust the dosage, and has a standard RS485 interface. It has the function of communicating with the computer, can remotely monitor the working state of the system, and can realize local control and remote control.

Trial operation of the modified dosing equipment

After the transformation of the dosing equipment, we carried out a trial operation on the site. During the trial operation, the whole set of dosing equipment operated normally. After 72 hours of saturated operation, all indicators met the design requirements of the owner. In addition, we cooperated with other upgrades to rebuild the whole set of old water plants to regain vitality, and the sewage effluent standard reached the standard again.
