The working principle of polymer preparation unit mainly includes the following steps:
Powder transportation:
The polymer preparation unit transports the powder from the storage container to the dissolution tank through a conveying system, such as a screw conveyor.
During the transportation process, the amount of powder can be adjusted through frequency conversion control to ensure precise dosing.
Wetting and Premixing:
After the powder enters the dissolution chamber, it is first pre wetted through a wetting funnel to allow the powder to initially come into contact with water and begin to wet.
Pre wetting can reduce the agglomeration of powders during the dissolution process and improve dissolution efficiency.
Dissolve and stir:
After mixing the powder with water in the dissolution tank, it is stirred by a stirrer to accelerate the dissolution process of the powder.
Stirring can ensure sufficient contact between the powder and water, improving dissolution rate and uniformity.
Liquid level control:
The dissolution tank is equipped with a liquid level sensor to monitor the liquid level of the solution in real time.
When the liquid level reaches the set minimum value, the system will automatically stop adding powder and injecting water to prevent idling or overflow.
Solution preparation:
After the powder is thoroughly mixed with water, a uniform solution is formed.
The concentration of the solution can be controlled by adjusting the amount of powder added and the amount of water injected.
Solution storage and output:
The prepared solution can be stored in a dissolution tank or transported to the point of use through an output pipeline.
As needed, the solution can be used directly or stored in a storage tank for later use.
Automatic control and safety protection:
The entire system is usually equipped with an automatic control system that can set parameters and run automatically.
The system also includes security measures such as overload protection, leak detection, etc. to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
